The Helix Dryer HD
The HD series uses a central, top-driven helical mixer in a conical vessel enabling a smooth and efficient mixing of the dry material. Even sticky products can be processed due to the special design of the mixing screw.
Using a heatable vessel and mixer, the Helix Dryer is a high performance vacuum contact dryer at low temperatures. A combination of the central product discharge and optimized screw design guarantees an almost residue-free emptying.
Additional equipment is available with interchangeable components such as stationary drive module, vacuum system, heating/cooling system, CIP skid and mobile components
for simultaneous unit operations to minimize product handling when drying multiple batches.
