KMPT AG, Munich is progressing well in the implementation of its defined expansion strategy. After establishing growth in 2003, incoming orders increased again by approx. 15% in 2004 to reach over 50 million euro. In spite of the negative impact coming from a strong euro as well as the high price of oil and raw materials, the company has performed well above average for this sector.

The company will continue to pursue its growth strategy systematically. Besides the expansion of global sales and service organization, this approach particularly involves an innovative and wide range of products for solids-liquid separation.

To maintain sustainable growth it is necessary to invest in a new business location. At the Munich/Allach site the company is embedded in fixed and well-established structures. The new factory at the site in Vierkirchen to the north west of Munich opens up opportunities to develop modern production and administrative structures and successfully shape the company’s future.

The key data of the project are:

  • approx. 22 000 m² property
  • approx. 3,500 m² office facilitiesapprox.
  • 7,500 m² production area
  • approx. 350 m² laboratory and test center for process engineering tests and developments

The ground-breaking ceremony on May 11, 2005 marked the official launch of this project implementation.

With the move to Vierkirchen the management has made a decision in favor of Germany as a location, its highly qualified workforce and its excellent infrastructure.

KMPT AG supplies machinery and plants for solids-liquid separation in the starch, pharmaceutical and chemical s industry. To this end, the product program offers the logical combination of mechanical separation technology (centrifuges and filters) with thermal separation (different types of dryers). These process components are frequently connected to form complete process lines with state of the art control systems.
