Intelligent sensor technology for centrifuges:
Batch operated centrifuges are controlled using smart sensors such as
- thermal feed level control sensor
- ultrasonic feed level control sensor
By measuring the filtration resistance and the point of the liquid insertion into the cake, fluctuations in the product properties and varying operating conditions are detected and evaluated resulting in optimization of the individual process steps.
These provide the user with the following characteristics:
- Increase in centrifuge performance
- Improved washing result with minimum consumption of washing agent
- Determination of the filtration resistance in the product heel
